We are here to provide you with support, care and the safety to feel heard, and empowered, when you are struggling with anxiety, depression, intimate relationships, trauma, etc. or simply when you need to talk with someone.

CEO & Founder of Just Be Held
Kriti Candida Lal, a dedicated Counseling Psychologist, empowers emotional wellness through Just Be Held. With a strong academic foundation in Applied Psychology and diverse certifications, Kriti brings valuable experience as a School Counselor and expertise in Clinical Psychology Internships.
Her passion for Mental health awareness drives Just Be Held’s mission. Personally, Kriti has overcome her own mental health journey. Despite physical disability, her limitations never defined her – instead, they fueled her passion to help others overcome theirs. Kriti connects with people of all ages, offering compassionate guidance and support.

At Just Be Held, we match you with a counsellor whose expertise most closely matches your needs. You can talk about your preference(s) to your therapist, such as style of communication or area of specialization. We want you to feel comfortable, understood and supported.
Yes. Confidentiality is a core of our practice. Anything you share with your therapist will be kept between the two of you, unless there are safety or legal reasons that require us to disclose.
Some clients may notice a couple of changes in a few sessions; some may attend therapy long-term to improve self-healing and improve personal growth.
Yes, we offer both online or weekend sessions to meet your individual needs. With our online sessions we can provide consistent care anywhere you are located regardless of session time.
